Sapphire is the birthstone for the month of September. It comes in all the colours of the rainbow – except red. It is said to be the birthstone of wisdom, loyalty and nobility.

Alternative stone to sapphire is blue agate and blue cubic zirconia or crystals are excellent representatives of the sapphire colour.
